Stress Test
I am not sure exactly how this works, but this is amazingly accurate. The picture below has 2 identical dolphins in it. It was used in a case study on stress levels at the Mayo Clinic and later at Fletcher Medical Center in Burlington. Look at both dolphins jumping out of the water. The dolphins are identical. A closely monitored, scientific study revealed that, in spite of the fact that the dolphins are identical, a person under stress will find many differences between the two dolphins .
The more differences a person finds, the more stress that person is experiencing.
Look at the photograph and if you find more than one or two differences you may need to take a vacation. You are welcome to come visit us in Florida for your vacation.

Just let us know when to pick you up at the airport.

Save the Date!
She'll wear a tutu for the ballet recital, and I'm sure that will also be coming home soon. She has a pretty busy day on Thursday, as she dances from 5-7 pm. That's a pretty long day for a seven year old.
Kev's a pretty busy guy too. On Thursdays he has Boy Scouts, followed by fencing and math tutoring at Kumon. He's been doing a lot of reading lately, and is almost done with the last Harry Potter book. He'll be ready for the new one when it comes out this summer. Tomorrow he has a big test on the multiplication tables, so he's been practicing a lot to get them right. He got all As and one A- on his report card this week.
I've joined a different choir. I decided to leave the Sweet Adelines because I found the Thurday night rehearsals from 7-10 too difficult given all of Kevin and Catie's activities on Thursdays. I'm singing now with the Easter Choir for Unity Church, and really enjoying it. We're a small choir - there are only about 10 of us - and it's a lot more fun. Our Director performs at the Peabody Hotel every Friday and Saturday night, so we may go to hear her play the piano.

Getting Ready
We have been working on our house for the past several months getting it ready to sell. The neighborhood is improving, and we figure this is a good time to put the house on the market. Two new homes were built across the street from us in the past 6 months, and they are currently on the market for 1.8 million. Dollars. It's a little hard to believe.
We had new pavers installed about a month ago, which required us to remove all the old concrete around the house, and have it hauled away. Then we had all the trees in the yard trimmed, and the flotsom and jetsom from the hurricanes hauled away. Our yard is definitely looking bigger. The houses across the street had some extra fill they were having hauled away, so we had the workers dump the dirt in our yard to fill in some low spots. For a while we had some lovely mountains of dirt which the dogs liked to sit on and survey the neighborhood. Kev and his friends loved the dirt piles because they could play army and dig bunkers into the dirt. Kev's friend Jared told us we had the coolest yard in Winter Park.
Right now the entire yard is completely dug up with trenches for the irrigation pipes. So far none of the utilities have been cut, which is a good sign. We have a landscaping plan, and it should all look really beautiful in about a week. I can't wait. It has been really hard keeping all the dirt out of the house for the past few months.

This One's for Angelo
Catie wanted her big brother to see what she has been practicing for the Grandparents' Day Program at LHPS next month. She's singing in the show and performing for the Dance Team. The show is a take off on High School Musical.

Catie Ballerina
Tiana is doing karate every day after school and has her yellow belt. She is very happy to demonstrate the new moves she has learned.
Jim, Alex, Kevin and Sarah went to a Magic game tonight. They have great seats, right near the cheerleaders.
I had a crazy, busy day but at least I started it right with a yoga class. I missed two weeks of classes last week because I've had a bad cold, but I'm getting back into my schedule this week. Tomorrow I'll be back to my Tuesday/Thursday schedule of water aerobics.

A Day at the Beach
It was even too cold for any tourists to be swimming.
Earlier in the week I accompanied Catie's 1st grade class to Oak Haven Farms in Sorrento to pick strawberries. We picked strawberries for about an hour, ate lunch and had a hayride.
