Family Visit
On Tuesday night we had a real family night! My sister Judy is in Florida for a week with her husband Bob, daughters Melanie and Colleen and Colleen's boyfriend Brian, and they came over for dinner. Alex and Tiana also came, as well as Alex and Angelo's cousins Anna Villagomez Reyes and Joe Semen. I had turkey, roast pork and spam, as well as lots of veggies a salad and some homemade apple pie. We ate outside on our new patio, and really had a great night.

Grandparents Day Photos
Girls Weekend!
Kevin and Jim are going to a Boy Scout camp out this weekend in Lake Wales. They leave this afternoon, after Uncle Gene arrives to go with them. Nora is staying here with me and Catie and we plan to have a girls weekend. Tiana is coming over for the day tomorrow so that Sandra can go to her last Saturday class at Rollins on Saturday morning.
By the way, Sandra is graduating from Rollins College on May 12. We are really proud of her.

Arts in April at LHPS
This month Lake Highland Prep School is celebrating Arts in April. There has been a lot going on for the kids. Yesterday was Grandparents' Day, and Catie sang her songs and did her little dance number. The Grandparents' Day show was really cute - it was based on High School Musical - and the kids really got into it. Nora and Gene came as our official Grandparents, and they got a kick out of it.
There was also an art exhibit for the Lower School on display in the Library and school entrance. Kevin and Catie's paintings were selected from their grades for display.
